1940s Cottage
This half scale house started it's life from the RGT Colonial Dollhouse kit. The kit has been modified to create a 1940s cottage. The roof line, staircase, chimney, windows, doors exterior, and front facade have been extremely modified.
The clapboard siding was covered with Paperclay and finished to resemble brickwork.
This side windows was installed after the house was finished, quite a challenge!
Interior view
The parlor walls are covered with scrapbook paper and wainscoting.
A guest bathroom is hidden under the staircase.
Kitchen
The search is on for wing back chairs for the bedroom.
A Bespaq door leads to the bathroom.
The top floor houses a library. A table will be placed between the two chairs. The painting over the fireplace is a copy of one created by a family member and is hanging in the owner's home.
