Brick Rosedale, 2019
The Rosedale is a Greenleaf. This is the second Rosedale I've built. This one was built for specific furniture I have collected. The exterior brick, shingles, and sidewalk are formed from Paperclay. The foundation was raised about 1/2" to accommodate the sidewalk. The birdbath was painted to resemble aged copper. The exterior pole lights are railroad accessories that were too short for the scale, so block podiums were created to add height. Both sides of the Rosedale are adorned with climbing rose bushes.
The interior contains a downstairs living room and dining room. The staircase was omitted to create more spacious rooms.
These rooms are not yet accessorized. The living room rug is a cross stitched piece. The second floor roof has been raised to accommodate the canopy bed. Also on the second floor is a Bespaq bathroom set. The top floor houses a nursery. The white furniture was painted to match the wallpaper border trim.
The parlor contains Bespaq furniture, a handmade lamp and a cross-stitched rug.
The dining room contains 4 Bespaq chairs. A 1:12 scale Bespaq coffee tables serves as a dining room table. The chandelier is handmade.
The ceiling on the second floor was raised to accommodate the canopy bed. The bed covering is hand stitched.
The bathroom set is by Bespaq.
The nursery was painted to match the wallpaper border. The rug is cross-stitched.
