Williamsburg Georgian House, 2010 SOLD
This house was built from an RGT kit in the spring of 2010. I bought it through one of Hobby Builders' great sales!
Interior View
I did very little kitbashing on this other than to move the stairway and center walls a bit. The rooms are quite spacious.

Painting this brick was a nightmare. First I painted the mortar gray. Then I mixed shades of red and brown to paint the brick, trying not to get it on the mortar. The pictures look like the brick is bright red, but it actually has several shades of red and brown.

2nd Floor Bedroom
Isn't this a cozy room? The rug and quilt were cross stitched. The night table is by Reutter. The little metal train set was found at an antique store and is quite heavy!

The quilt is a cross-stitched piece.
Third Floor Hallway
I made the feather duster with some feathers, duct tape, and a toothpick.

Note the quilled flowers in the pot. I made the feather duster out of a toothpick, feather, duct tape.

The green bathroom scales beside the commode are by Strombecker. I thought for years it was a clock!

All the wall paper in this house is small print, regular size wall paper, not dollhouse wallpaper. A great way to test the paper to see if it fits the one inch scale is to carry a miniature chair with you to the store and hold it in front of the wallpaper. I cross-stitched the rug. A picture of my granddaughter hangs over the bed.
