Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage was created from the1:24 scale Brianna Cottage kit by Laser Design Dollhouse. A few modifications have been added.
A potting shelf sits on the left side.
A screen door was added to the right side.
The interior as designed for the kit. This was modified to open up viewing to the arched upstairs window. The partitions and staircase was removed to provide more parlor and kitchen space.
The modified interior
The parlor contains lamps made from beads and jewelry findings and an antique repainted Tootsietoy lamp.
The kitchen was inlarged.
This Tootsietoy stove dates to the 1920s.
The sink/icebox combination and the table and chairs are 1980s pieces from The Littles by Mattel.
The bed covering and rug are cross-stitched.
There was a different set planned for the bathroom, but unfortunately the room was made too small for it, so a substitute plan was implemented. The shelf and towel rack are kits from Mini Etchers.
