New Orleans House
This is a house that was made for (and with guidance of) a dear friend.
This is the Real Good Toys kit.
This is how the house looks now. The addition created space for a bathroom and kitchen.
Interior View
The top level houses a bar!
The bathroom is in the top level of the addition. The sink is by Sonya Messer. The rug contains the New Orleans saying, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez," or "Let the good times roll."
The bedroom furniture is by Bespaq.
The French woman has been modified slightly.
Bertie Jean got the little travel bag at the dollhouse show in Atlanta.
I created the lady from Sculpty, per Bertie Jean's request. I think she's been reading too much 50 Shades of Grey. The curtains are antique lace that has jewel accents.
Second Floor Landing
The kitchen is in the lower level of the addition. I painted the table and chairs to match the wallpaper. My granddaughter helped me make the fruit on the table. The wainscoting is made from a placemat.
Most of the parlor and dining area furniture is by Bespaq.
The winding staircase in the foyer was especially difficult to finish as it was pre-assembled.
This patio is on the roof of the addition.
The newspaper is a replica of an actual paper from New Orleans.
