Dollhouse Scale People

Picture
Picture
Caco Family in half scale and quarter scale.
The father bears and uncanny resemblance to my late father-in-law.
Picture
I made this 12 inch scale doll was from Scuplty.
Picture
The maid doll on the left is a 1910 German doll.  She is dressed in her original costume.

Caco Family
Picture
I found this doll family on Ebay.  Their costumes are so intricate.  The doll in the top left is a Peggy Nisbet dolls house doll.
Picture
This is a wedding takes place in the Mini Blessing Chapel.  The dolls in the audience and the organist are Caco dolls.  The minister is a Bat Masterson doll.  The wedding party is by Hasbro.

This miniature doll head is marked Marklin 78. I added the body and made the clothing.  This is one of my favorite dolls.  Her hair is gathered up in a snood in the back, very intricate.
Picture
Lovely antique maid doll (early 1900s) in original clothing.
Picture
Picture
These dolls and the gentleman above, were purchased in a set.  The males' costumes are very detailed.
Picture
Picture
The elderly couple were made from a kit.  My mother made the clothing.

Antique Maid Doll

Her clothing appears to be original.
Picture
Antique lady doll, the male doll appears to be newer.
Picture
The little girl on the left is actually a Christmas tree ornament.
Picture
Picture
1940s Caco lady doll with metal feet.  Caco dolls with metal feet are some of the oldest made, however those with metal hands and feet are the very oldest, in the 1930s.
Picture
I made the farm grandmother from Sculpty.
Picture
A very elegant couple!

A Caco doll with metal feet is playing the cello.

This is a nice couple purchased on eBay.  The lady was undressed, so I made her a dress on a daisy theme.

Picture
Another eBay doll that was purchased undressed.  I made this suit.
Picture
This lady is porcelain and her dress has very intricate buttons facets.  The male doll is by Peggy Nisbet.
Picture
The lady in polka dots is very old, although her dress is not.  She has glass eyes and sawdust filling.
Picture
This little German flapper is probably 3/4 scale.
Picture
The two girls dressed alike are by Effanbee.  They are called the Birthday Twins.
Picture
These sweet girls are a bit oversized for a dollhouse.  The doll on the left is called Scootles.
Picture
This very proper lady is complete with matching umbrella.
Picture
These two servants abide in a Victorian house.  The maid looks a bit bizarre!
Picture
The couple above are multi-jointed and appear to be ready for a party.
Picture
The young boy above is a bit oversized for a dollhouse, at 5 inches tall.  He's a vintage bisque doll, very common in Denmark as he was sold in the national costume of Fano to benefit the island's population after a flood.  His only markings are "Made in Germany" on the back of his breastplate.

The gentleman below is a china head doll from ca. 1880 with cloth body, sawdust filled and bisque hands.  He's led a rough life as his feet were broken off.  I have since replaced them.  His hairstyle is Highland Mary which can also be seen with black hair.

Picture
She's a bit larger than dollhouse scale, but so lovely, I couldn't pass her up.  Her clothing appears to be original.  I love her elaborate hair style!
Picture
Picture
I'm not sure of the age of this maid.  Her hair is in a bun.
