Grandma's Christmas House, 1992    SOLD

This farmhouse was made from an RGT kit.  It was permanently decorated for Christmas.  I no longer own this farmhouse as it was given to a beloved principal in our school district as a retirement gift.

My friend, Bertie Jean and her late husband, Ronnie are on the porch.

Some furniture was changed.

The house as it was decorated for Christmas.  The brick foundation is the sprayed on over a brick template that came with Magic Brick.  This textured spray comes in a can and creates a brick-like surface.  It works better than the brick mixture that comes with Magic Brick because it flakes off easily.

The kitchen and bathroom floors are made from a real-sized vinyl tile.  The little blue stove was purchased at Big Lots.  It is resin, but seems to fit this house perfectly!

Sewing Room

The yarn winder  is actually a metal pencil sharpener painted to appear wooden.  The cross-stitch floss was also added.

Bertie Jean changed the bedroom furniture.  Isn't this set lovely?
