Heritage

The Heritage is another Duracraft dollhouse kit.  Jim Collins has developed an extensive online journal of his experience building this house, which I only wished I had when I started this kit!  This was a complicated house to build as the walls slide into grooves in trim corner boards to hold them together.  This has to be done gently as the corner boards tend to split!

I've only painted two houses purple.  This one, and one I made for a niece.  The purple color scheme was carried out throughout the house.

2nd Floor and Small Attic Area

The bed is made from a ceiling tile covered wiht fabric!

1st Floor Kitchen

The windows were painted to look like stained glass.

1st Floor Parlor

This is another Heritage dollhouse that I purchased already assembled.  It was a store display, so I only had to paint it!
